Representing Multistudio as Executive Architect, Mark took ownership of and led all technical aspects of the project. From early code analysis, to stringent landlord compliance, to complex kinetic detailing and custom materials, Mark worked with over a dozen consultants, design partners, sub-contractors, and local artisans to execute Olson Kundig's vision - never missing the opportunity to bring in the project's desire for a laid-back, Nor-Cal sophistication into every space, surface, and seam.

This tenant improvement project in the Presidio's Letterman Digital Arts Center for a confidential client features full-floor renovations that capture the breath-taking views of the San Francisco Bay, Golden Gate, and surrounding Presidio. A 6,000 SF "collaboration cafe" where employees can work and meet casually in a large, day lit volume embraces post-pandemic trends of providing a variety of work settings. The interior finish palette embraces the clients Northern California roots, offering a laid-back atmosphere compared to their New York location while still maintaining a sophisticated and elegant feel for both employees and visitors.
